The Vietnam-Russia Petroleum Joint Venture Company (Vietsovpetro) has just completed the exploitation of 200 million tonnes of oil from Bach Ho and Rong oilfields as of 5am, August 8th, 2012 since the first oil exploitation at Bach Ho oilfield in June 26th, 1986.
This marked the tremendous efforts of all staffs of Vietsovpetro on ensuring safety and efficiency in exploiting activities.
To reach the achievement, Vietsovpetro has carried out more than 1.8 million meters of drill at over 440 wells, as well as built about 40 projects and 600 km of underground pipes. The value of oil sold in the market has reached more than USD 60 billion.
Vietsovpetro still is on the way to implement the 2012 plan as targeted by the boar. At the being time, Vietsovpetro has extracted around 3.68 million tonnes of oil, accounting for 60% the plan of year, with turnover of USD3.32 billion, accounting for 80% of plan.
