Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has just ordered Ministry of Finance for an quick response for the proposals of fuel distributors to adjust retail fuel prices in a bid to stop hoarding from fuel retailers ahead of price hikes.

Mr Hai also ordered the Ministry of Industry and Trade to have a specific guidance on time of sale and give specifically the sparse or suspended times to fuel retailers in order to prevent them from violation.

According to Ministry of Industry and Trade, it takes 4-5 days for a response after receiving the proposal from major distributors on oil price adjustment. However, it is enough time for retailers holding their sales to wait price increases.
