SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) President Rovnag ABdullayev has received delegation led by Vietnam’s Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Phuong Nga.
According to APA-Economics, SOCAR President noted that the friendship relations between Azerbaijan and Vietnam have rich history. Azerbaijani oilers played an important role in Vietnam’s oil gas and industry.
In turn, Nguyen Phuong Nga said that she visited Azerbaijan for the first time but this country is known in her country. She also reminded that Azerbaijan contributed to Vietnam’s energy sector.
She said that oil industry organizes significant direction of bilateral relations between two countries and underlined importance of documents signed between SOCAR and «Vyetnam Oil and Gas Group» (Petrovyetnam) Company. According to her, Vietnam intends to extend the cooperation with the SOCAR.
