On 14th May, afternoon, PTSC Maritime Engineering Service Joint Stock Company (PTSC M&C) owned by Vietnam Gas and Oil Group and Lam Son Operating Join Venture Company (LSJOC) have signed an EPCI contract to jointly tender the Thang Long and Dong Do derricks.

Scale of contract includes design, procurement, construction, offshore installation, connection and test run two superstructure blocks at Dong Do and Thang Long derricks, 1,100 tonnes weight for each rig. Both two also buil a 15km internal pipe line and PLEM system of 87 tonnes. Total contract value is as USD113 million.

At the same day, PTSC M&C held launch ceremony to transport and install the superstructure block foot of White Lion rig for Cuu Long Operating Joint Stock Company (Cửu Long JOC).

White Lion rig is an complicate EPCI project including superstructure block of 1,400 tonnes, worth USD150 million and it takes time 27 months for test run offshore.
