The gas stations have been operating before March 16th, 2007 without repair, upgrade or rebuild to far from road about 5 m …will be suspended its businesses, this is a new regulation issued by HCMC People's Committee.

HCM City People's Committee has issued the Decision on repair, upgrade, and rebuild the existing gas stations that have been operating before March 16th, 2007.

Accordingly, the old gas stations were forced to redo the distance between fuel pumps to road at least 5 m to ensure  traffic safety.

Beside that, the distance of gas station and bridge foot is at least 50m; and distance between two gas stations at one side.is the same.

To protect from fire, gas stations are also far way from market, school… at least 25m.

As Decision, after a year (since May 19th), any gas station can not meet above provisions must stop trading.
