In April 20th, afternoon, Ministry of Finance has decided to lift retail prices of fuel one more time.

Accordingly, A92 gasoline increased another VND900 a liter, kerosene up by VND600 a liter, VND500 a liter and VND400 a liter for diesel and mazut. The increase of prices applied starting at 8pm, April 20th.
At a result, retail price of fuel products jumpped to VND23.800 VND21,400 and VND21,900 a liter for A92 gasoline, kerosene and diesel respectively.

This was the second time price of fuel to increase so far this year. In the first increase in March 7th, gasoline added by VND2,000 a liter. Finance Ministry's decision was based on a proposal of major distributors submitted two week ago week for domestic price increase as world price.

Beside that, Ministry also required major distributors to stop withrawing amount of money from Stabilization Fund since 8pm, April 20th. Currently, import tax rates of gasoline has adjusted to 0% from 5% as previous.
