Cooking gas retail price in domestic market is expected to reduce around another VND40,000 to VND310,000 a cylinder of 12kg in the early July.

Talking to Saigon economic time, spokesmen of major distributors said that cooking gas price in the world market recent days has been following the downward trend from previous months. In late last week, contract price (CP) fell by USD130 a tonne from USD722.5 a tonne early June.

If the market still unchange to the end this month, retail price of cooking gas in domestic market may drop about VND38.000 to VND310,000 a cylinder of 12kg in early next month.

Spokesmen also added that they have receive the announcement from Dung Quat oil refinery for its re-operation in July 7th and it will supply again the materials for them.

In the past month, Dung Quat oil refinery closed for maintenance, but supply of gas for domestic market was still guaranteed, thanked to imports as well as distributors supported each other.
