According to data released by General Department of Customs, Vietnam has exported about 782 thousand tonnes of crude oil in November, worth over USD695 million.
Total crude oil exports of Vietnam in the first eleven months reached 7.7 million tonnes, worth USD6.76 billion, up by 5.8% in volume and 51.7% in value over the same time last year, and accounted for 96% of plan this year.
For imports, in November, Vietnam imported more than 81 thousand tonnes of crude oil, worth USD82 million, up slightly over the previous month. In the first eleven months, Vietnam has imported about 629 thounsand tonnes, worth USD567 million, an increase of 53.5% in volume and 122.3% in value year on year.
The trade surplus of crude oil in November has been USD613 million, increased closely 50% compared to the same time last year. In the first eleven months, trade surplus of crude oil in the country was more than USD6.19 billion, up by 48% year on year.
In November, trade deficit of petrol was USD658 million (3 times higher than the same period in 2010). In the first eleven months, trade deficit of petrol was over USD7.32 billion (increased by 70% over the same period last year).
