In the latest session (May 21st), A92 gasoline prices in the Singapore market has increased slightly to USD115.24 a barrel, up by nearly USD1 barrel from last weekend session.
As reported by a major importer, no trader purchased fuel as saw price falling down because they thought price still decrease further. So most of them waited for price reaching bottom and started to inch up slightly before booking.
As pricing formula of Ministry of Finance, if importers bought fuel at that time at USD115.24 a barrel, it would make profit of VND1.600 a liter after taxes, cost and price stabilization fund.
