Giá dầu thô tăng về trên mức 80 USD/thùng

Trong phiên Châu Á sang nay, giá dầu thô Ä‘ã vượt qua mức 80 USD/thùng do các nhà đầu tÆ° lạc quan hÆ¡n về thị trường sau khi số liệu tổng sản phẩm quốc ná»™i GDP của Mỹ trong quý Hai được Ä‘iều chỉnh lại tốt hÆ¡n kết quả ban đầu, cÅ©ng nhÆ° khai báo thất nghiệp tuần của nÆ°á»›c này thấp hÆ¡n so vá»›i dá»± báo của các nhà kinh tế.

Các hợp dầu thô giao dịch kỳ hạn sáng nay tiếp tục Ä‘à tăng 2,7% vào cuối phiên Mỹ tối qua, mức tăng cao nhất kể từ ngày 11/08, sau khi chính phủ Ä‘iều chỉnh lại số liệu GDP cho thấy tá»· lệ tăng hàng năm của nền kinh tế Mỹ trong quý thứ Hai là 1,7%, cao hÆ¡n mức dá»± báo của các nhà kinh tế do Bloomberg News khảo sát tăng ở mức 1,6%.

Thêm vào Ä‘ó là báo cáo từ Bá»™ lao Ä‘á»™ng về số người bị sa thải trong tuần qua Ä‘ã giảm Ä‘i. Số Ä‘Æ¡n khai báo xin trợ cấp thất nghiệp ban đầu Ä‘ã giảm 16.000 người xuống 453.000 người trong tuần kết thúc vào ngày 25/09, thấp hÆ¡n mức dá»± báo của Bloomberg News là 460.000 người. Tỉ lệ thất nghiệp xấp xỉ ở mức 10%.

“ Thị trường xăng dầu phản ánh bối cảnh nền kinh tế Mỹ,” dẫn lời ông Tom Bentz, nhà môi giá»›i thuá»™c BNP Paribas Commodity Futures Inc. “ Mọi người Ä‘ang nhìn nhận xa hÆ¡n khi nền kinh tế sẽ phục hồi trở lại và nhu cầu sẽ làm cho trữ lượng dầu giảm xuống.”

Giá dầu giao kỳ hạn tháng 10h13 (giờ Việt Nam) Ä‘ang giao dịch ở mức 80,30 USD/thùng, tăng 23 cent so vá»›i mức Ä‘óng cá»­a 79,97 USD/thùng trong phiên Mỹ tối qua.

Hoạt Ä‘á»™ng kinh doanh ở Mỹ cÅ©ng tăng bất ngờ trong tháng này, theo Institute for Supply Management- Chicago Inc. Chỉ số sản xuất Ä‘ã tăng lên 60,4 trong tháng 09, vượt mức dá»± Ä‘oán cao nhất mà các nhà kinh tế Ä‘Æ°a ra trong cuá»™c khảo sát của Bloomberg News.

Sá»± kiện bất ổn chính trị của Ecuador, thành viên trong Hiệp há»™i các nÆ°á»›c xuất khẩu dầu OPEC cÅ©ng khiến thị trường năng lượng ấm lên. Ecuador Ä‘ã kêu gọi sá»± giúp đỡ từ phía quốc tế sau khi các thành viên thuá»™c lá»±c lượng an ninh của nÆ°á»›c này đảo chính vào ngày hôm qua do phe đối lập muốn lật đổ chính phủ, má»™t bản tuyên bố trên webside của tổng thống cho hay. Ecuador sản xuất 465.000 thùng dầu thô/ngày trong tháng này, chiếm 1,6% trong tổng sản lượng của OPEC.

Dầu thô Brent giao kỳ hạn tháng 11 có giá 82,22 USD/thùng, giảm 9 cent tại sàn giao dịch London.

Crude Oil Trades Near Highest in Seven Weeks on Signs of Improving Demand

Oil traded little changed near a seven-week high after U.S. second-quarter gross domestic product and weekly jobless claims beat economists’ estimates in signs that demand may improve.

Futures jumped 2.7 percent yesterday, capping the biggest monthly gain since May 2009, after a government report showed that the U.S. economy grew at a 1.7 percent annual rate in the second quarter. Prices also rose as the drop in jobless claims indicated that companies are cutting back on firings.

U.S. initial jobless claims decreased by 16,000 to 453,000 in the week ended Sept. 25, lower than the 460,000 median forecast of 47 economists surveyed by Bloomberg News, Labor Department figures showed yesterday in Washington. Unemployment has hovered around 10 percent.

“The market is still viewed as economics-led,” said Tom Bentz, a broker with BNP Paribas Commodity Futures Inc. “People are looking ahead to when the economy is going to recover and demand is going to cause drawdowns in some of the inventories.”

The November contract traded at $79.88 a barrel, down 9 cents, in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange at 9:58 a.m. Sydney time. Yesterday it added $2.11 to $79.97, the highest since Aug. 10. Crude climbed 11 percent in September and 5.7 percent in the third quarter.

The revised GDP figure exceeded the 1.6 percent median forecast of economists surveyed by Bloomberg News. Growth slowed from 3.7 percent in the first quarter.

Business Activity

Business activity in the U.S. also accelerated unexpectedly this month, according to the Institute for Supply Management- Chicago Inc. The group said its business barometer climbed to 60.4 in September, exceeding the highest estimate of economists surveyed by Bloomberg News.

The government of Ecuador, the smallest oil producer in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, called for international help after what it called a “coup attempt” yesterday by members of its security forces. The opposition is behind the attempt to take down the government, according to a statement on the president’s website.

Ecuador pumped 465,000 barrels a day of crude this month, or 1.6 percent of OPEC’s total, a Bloomberg News survey showed yesterday. OPEC’s current president is Wilson Pastor, Ecuador’s minister of non-renewable natural resources

Brent crude for November settlement was at $82.22 a barrel, down 9 cents, on the ICE Futures Europe exchange in London.
