Giá dầu thô chạm lại mức cao gần má»™t tháng

Giá dầu thô trong phiên châu Á sáng nay vẫn giữ được ổn định quanh mức 77 USD/thùng kể từ lúc Ä‘óng cá»­a phiên Mỹ tối qua. NhÆ° vậy, giá dầu Ä‘ã có sá»± Ä‘iều chỉnh về mức cao của ngày 14/09 sau khi Bá»™ năng lượng Mỹ báo cáo nguồn cung xăng của nÆ°á»›c này giảm nhiều do các nhà máy lọc dầu cắt giảm công suất hoạt Ä‘á»™ng xuông mức thấp nhất kể từ hồi tháng 04.

Các hợp đồng giao dịch kỳ hạn Ä‘ã chạm lại gần mức mức cao nhất trong tháng này sau khi Bá»™ năng lượng cho hay trữ lượng nhiên liệu tồn giảm 3,47 triệu thùng xuống còn 222,6 triệu thùng vào tuần trÆ°á»›c, nược vá»›i dá»± báo tăng 350.000 thùng của Bloomberg News.

“không chỉ kỳ vọng thị trường tốt lên ở Mỹ, mà chúng ta cÅ©ng sẽ thấy các thị trường má»›i nổi nhÆ° Trung Quốc tiếp tục nóng lên,”  dẫn lời ông Sean Brodrick, nhà phân tích tài nguyên thiên nhiên thuá»™c Weiss Research ở Jupiter, Florida. “ Đây là má»™t Ä‘á»™ng lá»±c tăng giá trên thị trường.” ông nhận định thêm.

Giá dầu thô giao dịch tháng 11 lúc 7h02 sáng (giờ Việt Nam) tại sàn giao dịch New York giảm 9 cent, còn 77,77 USD/thùng. Đóng cá»­a phiên giao dịch hôm qua tăng 1,68 USD và chốt ở mức 77,86 USD/thùng, mức cao nhất kể từ ngày 14/09 đến nay.  

Thêm vào Ä‘ó, giá dầu tăng còn có sá»± trợ giúp của đồng USD rÆ¡i xuống mức thấp nhất ở mức 08 tháng so vá»›i các đồng tiền chủ chốt khác trong rổ tiền tệ. Tối qua, USD Ä‘ã giảm 0,3% so vá»›i EUR, tức 1 EUR  đổi được 1,3626 USD. Đồng Ä‘ô la yếu hÆ¡n càng tăng thêm sá»± hấp dẫn của hàng hóa nhÆ° má»™t kênh dầu tÆ° thay thế.

CÅ©ng theo báo cáo từ Bá»™ năng lượng, các nhà máy lọc dầu của Mỹ trong tuần qua hoạt Ä‘á»™ng vá»›i công suất 85,8%, giảm từ mức 87,8% so vá»›i tuần trÆ°á»›c Ä‘ó do hoạt Ä‘á»™ng bảo trì máy móc trong mùa thu và mùa xuân trÆ°á»›c khi vận hành trở lại trong mùa cao Ä‘iểm của cầu nhiên liệu.

Ngoài ra, trữ lượng nhiên liệu chÆ°ng cất, gồm dầu hỏa và diesel, Ä‘ã giảm 1,27 triệu thùng xuống còn 137,6 triệu thùng, trong khi dá»± báo tăng 325.000 thùng. Trữ lượng dầu tồn giảm 475.000 thùng xuống còn 357,9 triệu thùng.

Trong phiên giao dịch London vào hôm qua, dầu thô Brent giao kỳ hạn tháng 11 tăng 2,06 USD, tức 2,6%, lên mức 80,77 USD/thùng, mức cao nhất kể từ hồi 09/08 đến nay.

Crude Oil Trades Near a Seven-Week High After Decline in U.S. Stockpiles

Oil traded little changed near a seven-week high after a U.S. government report showed an unexpected decline in gasoline supplies as refiners cut operating rates to the lowest level since April.

Futures are headed for their biggest monthly gain in seven months. The Energy Department said stockpiles of the fuel fell 3.47 million barrels to 222.6 million last week. They were forecast to increase 350,000 barrels, according to a Bloomberg News survey.

“Not only are things looking better in the U.S., but we’re also seeing emerging markets such as China continue to heat up,” said Sean Brodrick, a natural resource analyst with Weiss Research in Jupiter, Florida. “This is a bullish force in the market.”

Crude for November delivery was at $77.77 a barrel, down 9 cents, in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange at 9:02 a.m. Sydney time. Yesterday, the contract added $1.68 to settle at $77.86, the highest settlement since Aug. 11. Prices are 3 percent higher for the third quarter and down 2 percent this year.

Oil also increased as the dollar fell to an eight-month low against a basket of currencies. The U.S. currency traded little changed at $1.3626 a euro after dropping 0.3 percent yesterday. A weaker dollar bolsters the appeal of commodities as an alternative investment.

Refinery Capacity

The Energy Department said refineries ran at 85.8 percent of capacity last week, down from 87.8 percent the prior week. Refiners typically take units down for maintenance in the fall and spring, before the peak fuel-demand seasons.

Stockpiles of distillate fuel, which includes heating oil and diesel, declined 1.27 million barrels to 173.6 million. They were forecast to increase by 325,000 barrels, according to a Bloomberg News survey

Oil inventories slipped 475,000 barrels to 357.9 million, the Energy Department report showed. Supplies were forecast to drop 700,000 barrels.

Brent crude for November delivery gained $2.06, or 2.6 percent, to $80.77 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange yesterday, the highest level since Aug. 9.
