Giá dầu giao dịch trên mức 85 USD/thùng

Giá dầu vượt lên gần mức cao nhất trong hÆ¡n 02 tuần trong phiên giao dịch sáng nay tại New York, sau khi chi tiêu tiêu dùng của người Mỹ  trong ngày Lá»… Tạ Æ n hôm cuối tuần qua tăng nhiều hÆ¡n so vá»›i năm ngoái, báo hiệu nhu cầu nhiên liệu có thể tăng lên ở quốc gia tiêu thụ dầu thô nhiều nhất thế giá»›i này.

Các hợp đồng tÆ°Æ¡ng lai trong phiên giao dịch tối qua Ä‘ã tăng 2,4% sau khi Má»™t báo cáo từ Liên Đoàn Bán lẻ Quốc gia báo cáo về tỉ lệ mua sắm bình quân Ä‘ã tăng 6,4% so vá»›i cùng kỳ năm ngoái. Giá dầu thô cÅ©ng nhích lên do thời tiết được dá»± báo lạnh hÆ¡n bình thường có thể đẩy mạnh nhu cầu dầu hỏa ở phía Ä‘ông nÆ°á»›c Mỹ và Châu Âu.

“Mọi người Ä‘ang kỳ vọng môi trường bán lẻ khá tốt, Ä‘ây chính là nguyên nhân khiến giá dầu tăng lên,” dẫn lời ông Michael Lynch, chủ tịch của Strategic Energy & Economic Research tại Winchester ở Massachusetts. Thời tiết băng giá cÅ©ng góp phần há»— trợ đẩy giá dầu Ä‘i lên. Nếu mọi người chuyển sang dùng nhiên liệu sưởi ấm thì Ä‘ây sẽ là thông tin tốt cho thị trường năng lượng.

Giá dầu thô WTI giao kỳ hạn tháng 01/2011 lúc 08h 05 sáng (giờ Việt Nam) tại sàn giao dịch New York tăng 8 cent lên mức 85,81 USD/thùng. Cuối phiên giao dịch hôm qua, giá tăng 1,97 USD/thùng, lên mức 85,73 USD/thùng, mức cao nhất kể từ hôm 11/11.

Má»™t báo cáo từ Liên Đoàn Bán lẻ Quốc gia có trụ sở tại Washington cho thấy khoảng 212 triệu người Ä‘i mua sắm và lên các website trong kỳ lá»… hôm cuối tuần tại Mỹ, tiêu tốn trung bình 365,34 USD.

Theo dá»± báo của Trung tâm dá»± báo thời tiết Mỹ ở Camp Springs, Maryland, nhiệt Ä‘á»™ ở khu vá»±c phía Ä‘ông nÆ°á»›c Mỹ sẽ thấp hÆ¡n bình thường kể từ ngày 7 đến ngày 13/12, 

Theo khảo sát của Bloomberg cho biết, các nguồn cung nhiên liệu chÆ°ng cất, gồm dầu hỏa và diesel, khả năng tuần tÆ°á»›c giảm qua lần thứ 10 do nhu cầu tăng lên. Theo Æ°á»›c tính của 11 chuyên gia phân tích trÆ°á»›c khi Bá»™ Năng Lượng Ä‘Æ°a ra báo cáo trong ngày hôm nay cho thấy, trữ lượng dầu tồn giảm 1,1 triệu thùng trong tuần kết thúc vào ngày 26/11 từ mức 158,3 triệu thùng và nguồn cung dầu thô giảm 900.000 thùng từ mức 358,6 triệu thùng.

Má»™t báo cáo từ Bá»™ Năng Lượng tuần trÆ°á»›c cho biết, lượng tiêu thụ nhiên liệu chÆ°ng cất ở Mỹ tăng 0,6%, lên mức 3,8 triệu thùng/ngày trong tuần kết thúc vào ngày 19/11.

Theo CustomWeather Inc, nhiệt Ä‘á»™ ở London có thể giảm xuống âm 6 Ä‘á»™ C vào ngày 03/12. Hôm nay, nhiệt Ä‘á»™ ở Paris khả năng ở mức thấp âm 5 Ä‘á»™ C, so vá»›i mức trung bình 4 Ä‘á»™ C trong thời Ä‘iểm này của những năm về trÆ°á»›c.

Cuối phiên giao dịch hôm qua tại London giá dầu thô Brent giao kỳ hạn tháng 1 tăng 1,76 USD, tức 2,1%, lên mức 87,34 USD/thùng.

Crude Oil Increases to the Highest Level in Two Weeks on U.S. Retail Sales

Oil traded near its highest in more than two weeks in New York after U.S. consumers spent more over the Thanksgiving weekend than last year, signaling fuel demand may increase in the biggest crude-consuming nation.

Futures, which are rising for the third month, gained 2.4 percent yesterday after the average U.S. shopper increased purchases by 6.4 percent from the 2009 period, a report from the National Retail Federation showed. Crude also advanced amid speculation that colder-than-normal weather may boost demand for heating fuel in the eastern U.S. and Europe.

“People are looking at a pretty decent retail environment, and that’s giving oil a boost,” said Michael Lynch, president of Strategic Energy & Economic Research in Winchester, Massachusetts. “Cold weather is more bullish earlier in the season than later. If people turn on their heaters early and they stay on, that’s good for the season.”

The January contract was at $85.81 a barrel, up 8 cents, in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange at 10:05 a.m. Sydney time. Yesterday, it added $1.97 to $85.73, the highest settlement since Nov. 11. Prices are up 5.4 percent this month and 8 percent higher this year.

About 212 million shoppers went to stores and websites over the holiday weekend in the U.S., on average spending $365.34, the Washington-based National Retail Federation reported.

Temperatures in the eastern half of the U.S. will be lower than normal from Dec. 7 to Dec. 13, according to a forecast from the U.S. Climate Prediction Center in Camp Springs, Maryland.

Distillate Demand

Supplles of distillates, which include heating oil and diesel, probably fell for a 10th time last week as demand increased, a Bloomberg News survey showed. Stockpiles dropped 1.1 million barrels in the seven days ended Nov. 26 from 158.3 million, according to the median of 11 analyst estimates before the department’s report today. Oil supplies probably decreased 900,000 barrels from 358.6 million.

U.S. consumption of distillate fuel rose 0.6 percent to 3.8 million barrels a day in the week ended Nov. 19, the Energy Department reported last week.

Temperatures in Paris may be as low as minus 5 degrees Celsius (23 Fahrenheit) today, compared with an average minimum of 4 for this time of the year, according to CustomWeather Inc. London temperatures may decline to minus 6 on Dec. 3.

Brent crude for January settlement rose $1.76, or 2.1 percent, to $87.34 a barrel on the ICE Futures Europe exchange in London yesterday.
