Gasoline prices in the world market continues to adjust sharply to lowest level in six months, as a basis for gas price in the domestic market to reduce accordingly.
Despite of world crude oil prices remained close to USD 100 a barrel, but gas prices continues to decline. As of yesterday November 22nd, the price of RON 92 in Singapore was traded at USD 107 a barrel, 8.8% lower than the current retail price in Vietnam, and that is also the lowest price in the past 6 months.
According to Saigon Securities Incorporation (SSI), if depend on an average price of 30 days, the import price of RON 92 reduced by 3.3%, so it meets conditions to lower retail price in the domestic another VND 500 a liter like previous times.
The latest time for price of A92 lowered to VND 20,800 a liter from VND 21,300 a liter was at 9pm on August 26th, 2011.
