Right after Finance Ministry released guiding on fuel price increasing in August 1st, 2012, the Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation (Petrolimex) officially decided to increase prices around VND500-900 a liter/kg for all products as of 14h pm the same day.
Accodingly, A9 gasoline price increased another VND900 a liter; kerosene price rose additional VND500 a liter. After the price hike, A92 gasoline price will be sold at VND21,900 a liter; DO 0,05S lifted to VMD20,800 a liter and kerosent inched up to VND20,650 a liter.
This latest increase came just a day after fuel prices imported from Singapore to up. Gasolines price from Singapore has increased more than USD1 a barrel (0.91%) to USD116 a barrel in July 31st.
This was the second time price increase in past 12 days. Beforely, in July 20th, gasoline price rose by VND400 a liter while diezel up by VND400 a liter and kerosene rose by VND300 a liter.
