Ministry of Finance has sent a Dispatch to major distributors of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) on the requirement for a strict implementation of gas prices registration.

 

Accordingly, Ministry of Finance asked major distributors to submit a price registration dossier to the Ministry through e-mail (with electronic signature) or through fax. Simultaneously, they also have to call to the Price Management Department to confirm the time to submit the registration dossier and receive an approval as prescribed.

 

Ministry expecially stressed that price registration dossier of major distributors should be sent to Price Management Department for approving before an adjustment, even weekend or holiday.

 

Enterprises have to show clearly brand names of liquefied petroleum gas products and give an explaination for the adjustment of price.

 

Beside that, major distributors have to publicize timely about price adjustment, especially the retail price to consumers must be unified for all systems through means of communication.

 

This notice was given in the condition of gas price in domestic market asjusted to rise by VND13,500-16,590 a cylinder of 12 kg few days ago.
