According Petrolimex Singapore, the subsidiary of Petrolimex Vietnam, it succesfully deliveried the first crude oil cargo to Sri Lanka in the early September under 2014-2015 contract signed to the run-state Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).  

This 100.000 tonnes cargo was shipped to Colombo port, Sri Lanka from Oman by Explorer, a Greece flagship tanker. The shipment was loaded safely last Saturday, September 6^th.

Petrolimex Singapore, finished sending 1^st crude cargo to Sri Lanka amid facing more changlenges in the severe competitive petroleum market worldwide, indicating determination’s  management to expand the market share.

The cooperation between Ceylon Petroleum Corporation and Petrolimex Singapore is expected to open a new line of operation in the development strategy for both company, marking the first step to acess Ceylon market share by Petrolimex Singapore and the parent company Petrolimex Vietnam.

Petrolimex Singapore plans to delivery two cargoes following the terms in the contract to CPC by the end of this year.
