At the press conference hold on October 15th, Mr Nguyen Hoai Giang – General director of Dung Quat oil refinery said to mid October, mill offically imported 15 million tonnes of crude oil and exported about 13 million tonnes of fuel after two years operation, contributed a part to national budget and ensured energy security.
So far this year, Dung Quat oil refinery has imported 4.4 million tonnes of crude oil and sold 3.9 million tonnes of fuel, worth VND87 trillion, accounted for 80% of 2012 plan, contributed more than VND11.3 trillion.
Recent reports from news agency in abroad for an suspension of Dung Quat oil refinery has caused confuse the public. However, mill currently is operating at full capacity to finish the target in the last three months this year .
