Dầu thô giao tháng 10 hôm nay tăng 32 cent lên 85.48 USD/thùng, giờ Sydney. Hôm qua, giá hợp đồng giảm 28 cent xuống còn 85.16 USD, mức thấp nhất từ sau hôm 22/8. Giá hiện Ä‘ã cao hÆ¡n 18% so vá»›i năm trÆ°á»›c.

Dầu thô Brent giao tháng 10 tăng 84 cent, tÆ°Æ¡ng Ä‘Æ°Æ¡ng 0.8%, xuống còn 110.15 USD/thùng tại sàn ICE Futures Europe – London. Chênh lệch giữa hợp đồng chuẩn châu Âu cao hÆ¡n 24.99 so vá»›i dầu thô Mỹ, thấp hÆ¡n mức ká»· lục 26.21 USD hôm 19/8.

Oil Advances on Signs of Economic Recovery, Shrinking U.S. Crude Stockpile

Oil advanced from a two-day low in New York as investors bet that signs of economic recovery and shrinking U.S. stockpiles indicate fuel demand will increase in the world’s biggest crude-consuming nation.

Futures rose as much as 0.4 percent after U.S. reports on durable-goods orders and home prices beat economists’ estimates. Energy Department data showed supplies declined 2.21 million barrels to 351.8 million last week. They were forecast to increase. Prices slipped yesterday as the dollar climbed, curbing investor demand for raw materials.

Crude for October delivery gained as much as 32 cents to $85.48 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange, and was at $85.45 at 9:42 a.m. Sydney time. The contract yesterday dropped 28 cents to $85.16, the lowest since Aug. 22. Prices are 18 percent higher the past year.

Brent oil for October settlement increased 84 cents, or 0.8 percent, to $110.15 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange yesterday. The European benchmark contract settled at a premium of $24.99 to U.S. futures, compared with a record $26.21 on Aug. 19.
