Mr Do Trung Thanh, sales manager of Saigon Petro said that his company will decrease retail price of cooking gas.

Accordingly, gas price will be reduced by VND333 a kg, equivalent to VND4,000 a cylinder of 12kg to VND405,000 a cylinder from VND409.000 a cylinder 12kg.

Mr Thanh explainted the reason price decrease is following the decline of world gas price of USD15 a tonne to USD895 a tonne in February.

Other company such as MTGas also has the same reduction.

So far this year, retail cooking gas has cut off total of VND11,000 a cylinder.
